About Modular & Portable Building Association
The Modular and Portable Building Association is proud to launch the Learning Hub on our 80th Anniversary. The Hub is a Specialist Accreditation and Training Centre for a diverse and innovative industry sector, leading the way for off-site construction.
The Association has developed a specific qualification for operatives, in addition to specialist training on electrical systems and is now developing an apprenticeship for the sector, through the Trailblazer program.
With the support of a Construction Industry Training Board grant, the Learning Hub has been developed to provide a delivery mechanism for National Vocational Qualifications, Training and Apprenticeships in partnership with local and national providers.
In March 2018 the Learning Hub was accredited to deliver NVQ’s by C-Skills (now part of NOCN Group)
In April 2018 the Learning Hub was accredited as a CITB Approved Training Organisation.
